The Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region (RQHR) subscribes to AED Link (TM) system. With AED link, 9-1-1 dispatchers are able to quickly identify the location of all registered AEDs and send bystanders to get the AED immediately, before paramedics arrive.

If your AED is registered, it is more likely that it will be used during a sudden cardiac arrest and possibly save a life, because 9-1-1 dispatchers can instantly identify its locations.

The RQHR PAD (Public Access Defibrillation) Program strongly encourages organizations to become equipped to save a life through AED training for their staff and a routine maintenance schedule to ensure that the device is in working order. If you are registered with the National AED Registry you will receive regular email reminders and other updates about your device.
