Wascana Rehabilitation Centre Extended Care/Veterans Program
The Extended Care/Veterans Program, located at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, provides specialized supportive and long term care services to 259 residents on seven units. Veterans' Affairs Canada funds 54 beds and access to these beds is determined by Veterans Affairs.
The Extended Care Program at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre is designed to meet the needs of individuals, 18 years of age and older, who require complex medical, nursing and intervention therapies due to disability as well as chronic disease.
